Impact of Gun Laws on Gun Violence in the US
There are significant findings from a recent study on gun violence prevention in the US. According to a study by a gun violence prevention non-profit group, nearly 300,000 lives could be saved over the next decade if all US states adopted gun control laws similar to those in California and New York. The study looked at data from 50 states and ranked them based on the strength of their gun laws and death rates. California and New York were ranked highest for gun safety, while Arkansas ranked last. Both California and New York have lower gun death rates compared to states with weaker gun laws.
